Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan - South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana issued a threat to drug traffickers with stern remarks and stern warnings.


"I affirm do not dare to distribute drugs in South Kalimantan. If you do you are tired of life," he said.

The warning for the drug dealers was delivered during the event of destruction of evidence of drugs in the yard of South Kalimantan Police headquarters, Wednesday morning.

"The threat of punishment for drug dealers is to death penalty, so do not take it for granted," said the number one man in the South Kalimantan Police.

He said it is natural that drug dealers are sentenced to death, because the victims of their deeds would be damaged their health that led to deaths from overdose and damage to the young generation of the nation.

Currently, the majority of South Kalimantan Police inmates are also inmates in prisons are the perpetrators of drug crime.

"The most important thing at the moment is to make people aware of the importance of jointly fighting narcotics so that the circle of the dealers will be narrower and the police can not work alone without the active role of all elements of society to combat drugs," said the chief of police.

To the internal police of South Kalimantan, the police chief has warned not to try and touch drugs.

"There is no mercy for police officers involved in drugs. If they want to eradicate drugs, of course the police themselves must be clean first," said the one-star general who newsly served as South Kalimantan police chief.

The evidence of narcotics uncovered by the South Kalimantan Directorate of Drugs Detective, Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru drug police during the first quarter of 2017 amounted to 4.5 kilograms of sabu-sabu, 4,578 ecstasy pills, 187 grams of marijuana and 922,040 pills G-class drug.

Of the 31 cases there are 44 suspects have been secured by the police, including two women.
