The Batulicin Immigration Office in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan Province, has received the Human Rights Minister Natalius Pigai's award for its Human Rights Based Public Service Work Unit (P2HAM) 2024.

"The P2HAM award is a form of recognition for the commitment of government agencies in providing public services," said Head of Batulicin Immigration Office Ferizal here on Monday (Dec 16, 2024).

He said all of this refers to human rights principles,such as equality, non-discrimination, and respect for human dignity.

He said this is a clear evidence of the Batulicin Imigration Office's dedication in providing humane, fair, and quality services for the public.

Ferizal expressed his gratitude and pride for this achievement. He said that this award was the results of hard work of all levels in the office.

In the last several years, Batulicin Immigratin had made various innovations to increase the comfort and accessibility of services, such as providing disability friendly facilities and implementing digital system to make easier acces to information and immigration administration process.

"This effort shows continued commitment to providing more inclusive services and empowering the community," he said.

Ferizal emphasized that this award does not make his party complacent. The Batulicin Immigration will continue to be committed to maintain human rights-based service standards and using them as guidelines in every step forward.

He pointed out the importance of synergy with various parties, continuous innovation, and regular evaluation as a key to maintain and improve service quality.
