The Batulicin Immigration Office in South Kalimantan issued 5,695 passports during 2023 consisted of new passports, replacement passports, lost and damaged passports, and passports for agencies or offices.


Head of Batulicin Immigration Office I Gusti Bagus M Ibrahim here on Friday said the Immigration Traffic and Stay Permit Section (Lalintalkim) issued 4,059 new passports, 1,577 replacement passports, 56 lost passports, one damage passports, and two collective application for agencies.

"(We) cooperate with PT Pos Indonesia service to send passports to the applicants," said Gusti.

Meanwhile, the Batulicin Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Section (Inteldakim) supervised 109 people spread across the districts of Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu, deported two foreigners, two surveillance of foreigners (Timpora) and two joint operation.

Isuance of visit residence permits reached 188 documents, limited stay permits (859 documents), registration of children with dual citizenship (one document), return of immigration documents for foreigners or "exit permit only" (EPO) about 66 documents and documents not returned (277 documents).

TPI Marine activities or supervising foreigners who trafic via sea routes as many as 2,027 actions.

Gusti said that the Immigration Office released its performance during January-Desember 2023 immigration services, including the Immigration Information Technology and Communication disseminating 1,769 information through social media.

A total of 144 information through online media and 42 direct socialization to villages and sub-districts and one seminar activity.
