Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 10/2 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The port area criminal police (KPL) arrested a man who allegedly possess and distributes Zenit pills in the Trisakti Port.
Chief of Banjarmasin Port Area Police Commissioner M Fihim here Friday said the arrest was made on Tuesday (7/2) afternoon about 15:30 pm when police patrolling and found some pieces of Zenit from him, then developed to his house.
In his house, police found as many as 1,936 Zenith pills of Carnophen or 36 pieces in 19 boxes with a cash of Rp294.000.
He said the perpetrator identified as A, aka M (61), laborer, resident of Jl Barito Hulu, West Banjarmasin.
"The perpetrator and evidence has been secured in the police station and taken into custody for examination and further legal proceedings," said the middle-ranking officer.
The perpetrator has been named as a suspect and charged under Article 197 of Law Decree No. 36 Year 2009 on Health.
"We will take firm action against anyone who dared to perform dangerous drugs trafficking in the port area," said the man who is familiar with the media crew.
