Marabahan, (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Ahmadi, a Puntik Luar villager, Barito Kuala, who suffers a tumor, was successfully operated in Abdul Aziz hospital Marabahan, Wednesday (11/1).


The surgery to lift tumor as big as dragon fruit on his right cheek was running smoothly. Abdul Aziz Hospital medical team of five people only took two hours to do the surgery, which began around 11:00 am and ended at about 13:00 pm.

Operations team leader dr. Andi Nuransyah SpPB explained the surgery carried out on Ahmadi not having problems. Patients just a little bleeding, but it did not cause problems.

Andi said the types of Ahmadi's illness is just a benign tumor. "After this operation there is no possibility of problems happened," he said adding at most there is little disturbance of the psychic scar on the face, but it could be improved.

Postoperatively, according to him, the patient living through the healing process and possible for some time to go home. After that he could outpatient while requiring inspection for his scars.

Previously the Abdul Aziz Hospital team observed the Ahmadi's disease, Sunday (8/1). After a series of tests ranging from diagnostic measures to take samples of tissue to be analyzed in the laboratory to determine the disease and treatment, he was later operated on.

Ahmadi was reluctant to do the treatment by reason of lack of funds and could not leave the mother, who is 90 year old.

He had been taken twice by the sub-district employees to Ansari Saleh hospital in Banjarmasin for treatment, but he was then went home leaving the hospital.

Only after Regent Barito Kuala H Hasanuddin Murad and his wife Hj Noormiliyani SH visited his house and persuaded him to seek treatment, Ahmadi was willing taken to Abdul Aziz hospitals in Marabahan, Sunday (8/1).
