Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR) Minister/Head of National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) took part as President Joko Widodo, Vice President Ma’ruf Amin and Ministers of Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) inspecting Embung MBH and Sumbu Kebangsaan (National Axis) in the new capital city Nusantara (IKN), Monday.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said he wanted all his staff to experience the clean and healthy morning air in IKN. He said the air quality index here was quite low only 6 out of a maximum of 50.

"The air here is very fresh and clean, that is good for health," said the President in his statement to the media crew.

Together, the group strolling in the area around the embung or reservoir, accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, as a guide.

They walked while listening the detail explanation about the function and importance of the embung in supporting sustainability of IKN.

“Early in the morning invited by the President for a tour, guided by PUPR Minister to the embung, to assure the water reserve is guaranteed. Also to know that Garuda Palace and the State Palace will soon be completed perfectly, magnifently,” said Minister AHY as quoted from South Kalimantan BPN's press release in Banjarbaru.

The President, VP Ma’ruf Amin, and KIM ministers, ATR Deputy Minister/Deputy Head of BPN who is also Acting Deputy Head of IKN Authority, Raja Juli Antoni, then toured the Sumbu Kebangsaan.

Minister AHY hopes then that all IKN development will become the symbol of national unity and progress.

“Of course it brings pride to us all. So it is an iconic building, a masterpiece which hopefullly will truly become a symbol of Indonesia moving forward,” said ATR Minister/BPN Head.
