The Kotabaru National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) held a training center (TC) for 32 cadets of the 2024 national flag-raising troop (Paskibraka) to serve for the 79th anniversary of the Independence Day ceremony.

Assistant for Government and People's Welfare H Minggu Basuki on behalf of the Kotabaru Administration expressed gratitude and highly appreciation to all parties involved in the selection of paskibraka, especially trainers, TNI and Polri who coach, build and train the paskibraka cadets.

"I hope the paskibraka cadets will be able to show their quality as selected people, ethical, good mannered and have national insight and Pancasila character, all of which will be proven during this education and training," said Minggu Basuki in a press release, Tuesday (July 30, 2024).

The series of paskibraka activities from selection, TC, to hoisting and lowering flag are a chain that cannot be separated from one another.

Head of Kesbangpol Melinda Ratna Agustina said that this TC is attended by 32 high school students and they will undergo a quarantine period of 20 days.

"The criteria for these students have been mentioned in the paskibraka transparency app, which is the uniformity of the central government from the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), regarding height, weight, state ideology Pancasila insight, mentality and stamina," she expounded.

The trainers collaborate with Forkopimda (the district leadership communication forum), and the independence ceremony will be held at the Sebelimbingan Office area.

On this occasion, two 2024 paskibraka cadets, Revina Riskyta Fitri from SMA 2 Kotabaru and Mulya Aji from SMA 1 Kelumpang Hilir, receive symbolic participant badges.
