PT PLN (Persero) South and Central Kalimantan Main Distribution Unit shares safe tips for people who are traveling and leaving house during Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah/2024 holidays.
 
"It is very important to always pay attention security in the house environment before traveling, especialy securing electrical appliances and other facilities," General Manager of PT PLN South and Central Kalimantan Muhammad Joharifin said in Banjarbaru, Thursday.
 
Joharifin shared some tips. Tidy up the house before leaving. This will be very helpful when returning home. Making it more comfortable, and it also prevent the house from being disturbed by animals, such as mice, ants, and mosquitoes.

Then, turn off electrical facilities that are not in use. Unplug electrical equipment such as rice cooker, dispenser, water pump and other unused electrical equipment. Avoid buildup plug in one point, because it has the potential to cuase a short circuit and cause fire.
 
Turn on lights to ensure security, just several light, so it does not look dark at night.
 
Pay electricity bills and top up electricity token on time to prevent customers from being disconnected. It is also important to check the remaining electricity token. If it runs out, buy it immediately, so that electricity does not turn off. Cuatomers can use PLN Mobile app for transaction. 

"Some of tips that shared are PLN's concern for the comfort of the entire community. We all hope to be able to celebrate Eid al-Adha 2024 with wisdom and blessing," said Joharifin.
