The Muhammadiyah II Kotabaru Private Elementary School (SDS Muhammadiyah II) or also known as SD Muda has just graduated as many as 22 of 4th batch graduates of the 2023/2024 academic year.

"SDS Muhammadiyah II Kotabaru in its 8th year is now graduating the 4th batch students," said SD Muda Principal Lastiadi Muhtadin in Kotabaru, Sunday (June 2, 2024).

SD Muda, which began teaching and learning process since 2014, has now an accumulation of 222 students.  

When it first opening the education, it has only seven students. 

"Alhamdulillah, now the total number of students is 222, including students who have just graduated," he said.

Muhtadin said, as a whole, the Muhammadiyah Association in Kotabaru not only provides elementary school (SD) level education, but also kindergarten (TK), early childhood education (PAUD) as well as junior high school (SMP).

In addition to general education, SD Muda also has an excel program, namely Tahfidz Qur'an, Tartil Quran, with extracurricular of tapak suci, archery, futsal and hizbul wathan scouting as intra-curricular.

Muhtadin advised the graduating students to always increase devotion to Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala, so that their knowledge remains a blessing.

He also reminded students to maintain akhlaq or good morals wherever they are, so that their knowledge remain useful in the midst of family and society.

The princial hopes, his student will become children who devoted to parents and useful for the country and nation.
