The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan has awarded the City Government of Banjarmasin for the city's best regional development in 2024. The achievement was declared at the 2025 Provincial Government Work Plan (Musrenbang RKPD 2025).
"The Governor hands over the award," said the City's Secretary Ikhsan Budiman, who received the award representing Mayor H Ibnu Sina.
Ikhsan expressed his gratitude to all component of the city government for the success of the achievement.
"This is our joint achievement, all component in the City Government of Banjarmasin," he said.
He hopes this achievement will be a spirit for the continuation of the development of Banjarmasin, with the results to benefit all the people in the city.
Banjarmasin Mayor H Ibnu Sina extended his gratitude to the Governor Sahbirin Noor for the appreciation given to the City Government of Banjarmasin.
"Hopefully it trigger enthusiasm for the City Government of Banjarmasin to provide the better service to the people, both in public service, basic service, and organizing the government," he said.
According to him, it is important to maintain and care for the destination of the development which is built using the city's own budget without the assistance from Special Allocation Fund (DAK) or other assistance.
"We keep on striving to carry out development for the progress of the city, so that all people feet it," said Ibnu Sina.
