South Kalimantan Kafilah won fifth place among over all champions at the 27th National Tilawatil Qur’an Selection and Hadits Competition (STQH) in Jambi, Monday night.

Head of South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry (Kemenag) Muhammad Tambrin here on Tuesday said that "Banua" contingent (kafilah) was in the Big Five of  general champions by placing three participants as champions.

The first overall winner was East Java Kafilah, the second was DKI Jakarta, the third South Sumatra, the fourth Riau Islands, and South Kalimantan the fifth overall winner.
