Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - PT PLN's Main Unit Distribution (UID) for South and Central Kalimantan is strengthening relations with the community during National Customer Day (HPN) 2024.
This is a strategic moment to strengthen relations with customers through care and appreciation for various services, conveniences and superior products designed according to people's needs.
PLN's UID South-Central Kalimantan General Manager Ahmad Syauki here on Wednesday said that customers are most important thing in PLN's business, so they must be given the best service.
HPN theme “Customer's smile is our energy” reflects PLN's commitment to listen to input from customers, so it can continue to improve service quality and introduce innovations that support customers' comfort in enjoying electricity services.
“Previously, PLN had provided upskilling to frontliners on duty in all PLN service office throughout South-Central Kalimantan, with the theme PLN Frontliner Goes To HEART Services," said Syauki.
On September 2-3 2024, Ahmad Syauki with the team of PLN UID South-Central Kalimantan management visited a number strategic customes in South Kalimantan, including Duta Mall Banjarmasin, Syamsuddin Noor Airport, as well as several media business actors in South Kalimantan.
Ahmad Syauki during the visit conveyed PLN's superior programs, such as PLN Mobile app.

Until July 2024, PLN Mobile downloads in South and Central Kalimantan had reached more than 2 million or more than 90 percent of the total customers.
Syauki said that PLN Mobile app make things easy for all customers, as being monitored all the way to the central office. People use the app to make electricity transactions, buy token, record meters independenly, make complaints, and even shop.
Infrastructure development such as public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) is the current focus of PLN to increase public confidence to switch to more environmentally friendly and efficient modes of transportantion.
“To date, PLN has built 25 SPKLU locations throughoutSouth and Central Kalimantan and will continue to increase by the end of year. The total target is 47 points. We also trying to have SPKLU at important points such as airport,” he said.
General Manager of Angkasa Pura I Syamsuddin Noor AirportDony Subardono, who was visited on Monday (2/9), said that airport operation for the last 3.5 years had run smoothly thanks to the reliability of electricity supply from PLN.
“We are also very interested in the Renewable Energy Certificate program from PLN, which is in line with our commitment to making Syamsuddin Noor Airport as eco-airport,” said Dony.
On Tuesday, GM PLN UID South-Central Kalimantan Ahmad Syauki and the team continued their visit to Banjarmasin Post, Duta Mall, and Duta Televisi Banjarmasin. They were warmly welcomed by the companies' leaders and management.
