Tanjung, (Antaranews Kalimantan) - Tabalong, South Kalimantan, became one of the district whose General Allocation Fund (DAU) in 2016 has not been disbursed.


Secretary of Tabalong Board of Finance and Wealth Management (BPKKD) Muhammad Helman in Tanjung on Friday said the local government carries out efficiency and rationalization of the budget dealing with delays in DAU disbursement.

"DAU of 2016 fiscal year amounting to Rp13.7 billion as from September to December 2016 can not be disbursed, therefore we do budget efficiency," said Helman.

Through efficiency and rationalization throughout the budget and the work units (SKPD) of at least five per cent is expected to anticipate the retention of DAU which reached Rp13.7 billion.

About the cause of delay in the realization of the DAU of fiscal year 2016, according to Hilman, covering fiscal capacity in Tabalong high enough, one of which is capital investment expenditure for the local government owned water company PDAM amounting to Rp15 billion.

While the local Board of Finance and Wealth Management (BPKKD) had already held a coordination meeting with all related SKPD related to budget rationalization and efficiency of at least five percent.

The policy as an effort to nourish the budget considering the use of local revenue for the budget changes in 2016 which decreased by Rp45.9 billion.

In the province of South Kalimantan, the DAU delays in fiscal year 2016 includes five districts, namely Banjar, North Hulu Sungai, Kotabaru, Tanah Laut, Tabalong and Banjarbaru.
