Balangan, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - PT Adaro Indonesia and its partners, through their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) will provide assistance in the form four students freight cars, a fire truck, and an ambulance with a total value of Rp2,63 billion to the Government of Balangan.
 

The assistance was planned to be submitted directly by the President Director of PT Adaro Energy Garibaldi Thohir on iftar with Adaro Balangan and local government in Al Akbar Mosque, Thursday (23/6).
 
Idham Kurniawan, CSR Department Head of PT Adaro Indonesia, said the aid is a form of Adaro's commitment to spread positive energy in Balangan.

According to Idham, the car to transport students will be Suzuki SUV that will be managed by the government and used to support educational activities. Students and teachers can use it for free freight cars.

"The concept has been applied in Tabalong, and proved beneficial for students and teachers. We hope Balangan also can provide the same benefits," said Idham.
 
While fire truck and ambulance aid, said Idham, are expected to be instrumental in tackling fires and accidents in Balangan.
 
"According to data from national disaster, fire is a disaster that most often occurs after the flood. Hopefully with this additional fire engine in Balangan can be further optimized," said Idham.
