Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Governor Sahbirin Noor meeting President Joko Widodo to fight for the acceleration of strategic infrastructure development to support economic growth in South Kalimantan.
Chairman of the Governor Special Staff Noor Aidi in Banjarmasin Tuesday said the Governor was accompanied by Kotabaru Regent Sayed Jafar Al Idrus and Tanah Bumbu Regent Mardani H maming.
"On Tuesday (10/5) afternoon governor departed, and will meet with Regent Kotabarau and Tanah Bumbu in the palace," said Noor Aidi accompanied by six other special staffs at a meeting with reporters at the governor's residence.
Some important things to be presented, including the development of Syamsudin Noor Airport, Pulaulaut bridge that connects Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu, the issue of the availability of electricity and other energy to be immediately accelerated.
According to Noor Aidi, one of the important subjects to be delivered is Pulaulaut bridge construction.
"That is why the Governor brought two concerned regents to support the local government's desire to accelerate the development," he said.
Pulaulaut bridge is considered important to be realized, in addition to accelerating the pace of economic growth and welfare of the surrounding community, also the incoming government funds for the construction of the bridge was already large enough.
Noor Aidi added, the governor will also deliver a range of important programs for the improvement of social welfare, thus gaining the central attention.
Large scale projects, such as the construction of airport, railways and others, will also be able to encourage the growth of the local economy of South Kalimantan.
"At the moment the money follow the program. This means that as long as the program is delivered directly touches the interest of people and accelerate economic growth, then the money is no longer a problem," he said.
In addition to facing the president, the governor's entourage will also attend the national musrenbang in Jakarta, to convey all strategic programs that have been discussed with all districts and cities in South Kalimantan.
