Banjarmasin is currently building land and river transportation connectivity and has prepared infrastructure in seven locations, Head of the City Transportation Office Slamet Bagjo informed.

Among them, he said, are Banjar Raya, Mantuil, Alalak, Trisakti Port, and Baru Market.
 
"The other one will be at the Siring's Kilometer Zero point on Jalan Sudirman, just near the old Governor Office," he said.

Here, he pointed out, is a gathering point of various public transportation, including Trans Banjarmasin, Teman Bis, and other land transportation, as well as river transportation.

Here also is a highly tourist arrival place. "Because river transportation mostly for tourism," he expounded.

At this point, he said, the city government will manage the area to connect the highly mobile land transportation and river transportation to be united here. 

"This is our urgent thing in 2023, beside other activities we should do," he said.

Very lively river transportation in Banjarmasin City is a traditional klotok for tourist shuttle on the River of Martapura.
 
Slamet said, the land and river transportation integration program is the vision and mission of Mayor H Ibnu Sina and Deputy Mayor H Arifin Noor.
 
That's why, he said, focus is on infrastructure development supporting land and river connektivity is very seriously handled by his office.
 
Moreover, the City of Banjarmasin wants to establish itself as the most beautiful river city in Indonesia.
 
Banjarmasin, which has a nickname as the City of Thousand Rivers has as many as 259 active rivers.
