Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Immigration Office of Banjarmasin Tjutju Purnama stated quota system in passports service has been removed.

"Since December 2015 we no longer use the quota system in passports service but opening services by taking form from 07.30 until 10.00," he said here on Sunday.

According to him, with a set time limit to take the passport form, whatever the incoming request the appropriate schedule for its completion will be done the same day.

"If it used to be only 119 sheets for our passports daily limit, now if 120 or more form taken must be completed that day," he said.

This was done, said Tjutju, since many residents of this area apply for a passport, most of which for the purpose of umrah.

"Because if the quota system can run out at 08:00 am alone, so pity for the person who came all the way to go home," he explained.

With a system this time, he said, the people who come to the immigration office at Jalan A Yani Km 24 can still get a chance until 10:00.
