Amuntai, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel.) - The North Hulu Sungai Civil Registry and Demography Agency (HSU Disdukcapil) can not issue abut 8 thousand of electronic identity card or e-KTP for their double data recording.

Head of Data and Document Management of HSU Disdukcapil Syahbuddin Nor in Amuntai on Friday said it did not dare to publish eight thousand e-KTP cards for the double record data in other areas.

"This double record data occurs during data recording carried out in the sub-district offices. Perhaps because officers are less conscientious and could not check the data on line, so dual data recording happened," said Noor Syahbuddin.

Syahbuddin Nor said that besides the problem of data recording into Disdukcapil task to solve, there are still many children who do not have birth certificates reached 48,994 people.

Meanwhile, public awareness of the death certificate is still low. HSU Disdukcapil has so far issued about 25 death certificates.

Relating the central government plan to launch the Child Identification Card Program (KIA) through the Directorate General of Population of Ministry of Interior, HSU still faces problems in the field of civil registration.

"But if the KIA program must be performed naturally as the local government we must carry it out, although somewhat overwhelmed local budget if the budget should be sharing," he said.
