The Banjarmasin Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported that all sub-districts in the city has been affected by rob flood.

However, Head of the agency Fahruraji here on Monday said that not all urban villages were affected by the tidal flooding.

His agency's monitoring showed that rob flood that caused by sea tides occurred in riverside areas in five affected sub-districts.

As in South Banjarmasin it occurred in Kelayan Tengah with a water height of about 10-15 cm, in West Banjarmasin an inundation of about 5-15 cm took place in Jalan Agraria Raya, the Urban village of Telaga Biru.

"Similarly on Jalan Zafri Zamzam near Zafri Zamzam River, Kuin Cerucuk Urban Village, the water level is 10-20 cm," said Fahruraji.

Meanwhile, in Central Banjarmasin, he said, it was on Jalan RE Martadinata that the water of about 15 cm height swamped the courtyard of the City Hall, in Kertak Baru Hilir Urban Village.

"It was also observed on Jalan Cendrawasih, Belitung Selatan Urban Village, with an inundation height of 15-20 Cm," he said.

Whereas in East Banjarmasin Sub-distirct it happened on Jalan Banua Anyar, Banua Anyar Urban Village, with a water level of 10-15 cm. In North Banjarmasin on Jalan Sungai Jingah, Sungai Jingah Urban Village, with a height of water 5-10 cm.

The tidak flood that has occurred since May 18, according to Fahruraji, is estimated to last until May 28, 2022. However, that tide only lasts 3-4 hours and then recedes. The tides occurs starting at around 13.00 Wita (central Indonesia Time).

"The condition is still safe, if the building is low, of course water can enter," he said.
