Banjarmasin City contingen won the old bike (ontel) contest held in Kiram Park attraction, Banjar District, Saturday, as part of the provincial recreational sport festival (Forda).

Chairman of the Indonesia Antique-style Bicycle Community (Kosti) chapter of South Kalimantan Mohammad Ary here on Sunday said that Banjarbaru, Barito Kuala, Tanah Bumbu, and Central Hulu Sungai (HST) took part in the contest.

He said, each team consisted of five bikers. They are judged based on uniformity of costumes, yells, neatness and speed, and other assessments. 

The winner will represent South Kalimantan to the national recreational sport festival (Fornas) in Palembang in July, said Ary.

Based on the jury's assessment, the old bike contest for the team category was won by Banjarmasin as the first winner, Barito kuala second, Banjarbaru third.

Meanwhile, for the men's speed bike category the first winner Aulian (Banjarbaru), second Ahmad Setiawan (Banjarmasin), third M. Ikhsan (Banjarbaru).

For women's category Nadia (Banjarmasin) the first winner, Rosita (Banjarmasin) second, Hairani (Tanah Bumbu) the third. 

Th slow bike competition won by Andoko (Banjarmasin) at first place, Aulia Adi Wijaya (Banjarbaru) second, Eka (Banjarmasin) third.

Forda, which was organized by Indonesian Society Recreation Sports Committee (Kormi) competed dozens of recreational sports centered in Kiram Park. 

Governor of South Kalimantan Syahbirin Noor said that recreational sports need to be encouraged, the reason is that it not only for achevements, but it brings joy, so that the body is always healthy.
