PT PLN (Persero) through the East Kalimantan Development Parent Unit (UIP Kalbagtim) socialized the 150 kilovolt (kv) high voltage air transmission line (SUTT) in Tarjun Village, Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan.
Manager of UPP Kalbagtim 4 Arie Nugroho Ardianto said PLN explained to the community that in Tarjun Village there are 25 land points that will be compensated by PLN, 19 of which are included in the nature reserve area and 6 entry points for other use areas (APL).
PLN also pays compensation for land managers included in the Right of Way (ROW) route to the community.
The community, he said, supports the National Strategic Project (PSN) implemented by PLN, therefore the community agreed on the compensation value submitted by PLN.
With the completion of the ROW compensation in Tarjun Village, PLN has carried out 60 percent of the ROW release from Batulicin to Langadai Village, Kotabaru.
"We hope that with the full synergy of PLN with local government agencies and law enforcement officials, this development can be carried out in accordance with applicable regulations so that it can be completed on time to benefits community immediately," he said, Tuesday.
South Kalimantan State Prosecutor's Attorney, Jurit Kartono, revealed that the prosecutor's office provided assistance in the construction of the SUTT to provide legal certainty in providing compensation to the community.
"We provide assistance in the construction of the SUTT which is a National Strategic Project to ensure that the compensation for land, buildings and growing plants to the community runs smoothly and in accordance with applicable legal provisions," he explained.
The activity was carried out by PT PLN UPP Kalbagtim 4 together with the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office, the South Kalimantan Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA), Regional Government Apparatuses, as well as the Communication Forum for Kelumpang Hilir District Leaders and land management residents.
