Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Police continues serious in combating trafficking and abuse of narcotics and drugs.


"Every day the Narcotics Unit Police always catch drug offenses," said Deputy Chief of Banjarmasin Resort Police AKBP Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo Sik here on Thursday.

Some of perpetrators were red-handed and some were caught and arrested from the results of development of the case by police members in the field.

"Every drug offender caught with evidence of his crimes will be dealing with strict punishment fit the Narcotics Act," said the number two person in the Banjarmasin Police.

Dwi continued to say, evidence of the seriousness of Banjarmasin Police in combating drug can be seen from the catch and drug cases.

For about two weeks there were 41 cases successfully solved by Unit I and Unit II of Banjarmasin Narcotics Unit Police.

Of the 41 cases, a special unit of drug eradication captured 54 men suspected and three women.

Total evidence crystal methamphetamine (sabu-sabu) secured amounted to 433.39 grams or 4.3 ounces. Medium ecstasy kind of ineks 60 pills and 955 tablets of G-class drug.
