Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Angsana Beach in Tanah Bumbu District established as a new tourist destination in South Kalimantan. It has a beautiful beach and nature as well as coral reefs.


Head of South Kalimantan Tourism and Sports Agency Muhandas here on Friday said the provincial road conditions from Banjarmasin towards Tanah Bumbu quite smooth. Then it makes tourists from different regions easier to come to the virgin beach.

According to him, with a smooth road, traveling for five hours from Banjaarmasin to the beach becomes noticeably, especially after seeing the natural beauty of the area, tourists can be satisfied.

"Only the entrance to the beach still utilizing the oil palm company's proprietary," he said.

Against this, it has coordinated with the Tanah Bumbu Regent and promised to pave the driveway, so to make incoming tourists more comfortable.

According to Muhandas, establishment of tourist destinations is done by each district, and the province will support the promotion and the design of the tourism development.

Muhandas suggested that the tourist destination can grow rapidly and local government must dare to hand over to the private sector, because almost all tourist destinations can grow well when held privately.
