Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Education Office has programmed to rebuild state school for the disabled (SLBN) Pelambuan Banjarmasin which is still in the management of local municipality.


SLB Pelambuan development will later using the 2017 budget, because the school until October 2016 still in Banjarmasin government management authority, said acting head of South Kalimantan Education Agency Amka on Friday.

Amka, who is also Secretary of the agency, admitted part of the building condition is no longer feasible, among others, the ceiling fell and looked rickety.

The SLB management would no longer functioning of the building for fear dangerous for their students. For teaching and learning activities by maximizing existing infrastructure.

Acting Head of the Education Agency in his office stated, development of SLB Pelambuan, includes elementary school (SD), Junior High School (SMP) to High School (SMA).

Amka's statement responded the Head Banjarmasin Education Agency that the construction of the SLB is not budgeted.

The reason of no longer budgeting development of SLB Pelambuan, because its management authority will be transferred to the South Kalimantan provincial government.
