Port service company PT Indonesia Bulk Terminal (IBT), one of Adaro Logistics' subsidiaries, supports the process of acceleration handling of COVID-19 by providing mask and vitamin assistance to Kotabaru, South Kalimantan.

Port Division Head of PT IBT Yan Agus Rismawan here on Friday said as many as 1,000 health packages containing masks and vitamins as an effort to cut the transmission of COVID-19 were handed over.

"The aim is to support the stemming of COVID-19 as well as a disciplinary campaign for health protocols, especially for students who will undergo limited face-to-face learning," he said.

The assistance was said to be a form of Adaro's commitment to assist all elements in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was also a form of Adaro's synergy with Relawan Anak Bangsa (RAB) run by the Wahana Artha Foundation to contribute to assisting the government in accelerating the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

The District Secretary and the Chief of Kotabaru COVID-19 Task Force H Said Akhmad expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by Adaro for the people of Kotabaru.

He expounded that the assistance will be distributed to students through vaccination activities for schools in the fourth week of September.
