Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin city government held agate exhibition which lasted for five days from 8 to 12 June 2015 in Menara Pandang building at Jalan Piere Tendean, Banjarmasin.


The munacipality's PR releases received by AntaranewsKalsel on Thursday said the exhibition, which held until Friday (12/6), was officially opened by the Regional Secretary H Zulfadli Ghazali, Monday (8/6).

"I hope, the agate exhibition can push populist economic production, especially for craftsmen and amban or ring binder artisans in Banjarmasin," said Zulfadli.

Banjarmasin, as the capital of South Kalimantan also trade and transit areas is a huge potential to be developed, for example in the field of trade.

According to Zulfadli, in order to support the business community, particularly small businesses, the administration collecting businesses that currently much in demand part of the community, namely agate.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the bustle after the first pole construction of the Sultan Suriansyah General Hospital of Banjarmasin, Mayor H Muhidin with Deputy Mayor HM Irwan Ansari visited the exhibition.

H Muhidin also bought several rings, especially the kind of local Red Borneo from several booths he visited.
