Acting Secretary of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Muhammad Yani said that the implementation of level 4 public activity restriction (PPPKM) in the district is still waiting for a meeting with the COVID-19 Task Force to be held on Monday (23/8).

"Of course, in accordance with the level PPKM policy, there will be an areal restriction, including operating hours of stalls or cafes," he said when confirmed.

However, he added. the blockade policy is still waiting for a meeting with the COVID-19 Task Force tomorrow.

COVID-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee (KPC-PEN) on Saturday (August 21, 2021) announced several regions outside Java were entered in the implementation of level  4 PPKM volume three, including HST, and it will take place from August 24 to September 6, 2021. 

The development of COVID-19 cases in HST as of Sunday, August 22, 2021, at 10.12 was turned to the orange zone position or moderate risk from the previously red zone with high risk.

There was an additional 15 positive cases to bring the total to 2,747, with 1 suspect, 3 died to add to the total of 152. A total of 590 people being treated, and there were an additional of 74 people recovered to bring the total to 2,005.
