Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarmasin Market Management Agency Head Hermansyah said that currently rental shop and stall levies in a number of markets in arrears up to Rp16 billion.
"As from 2000 to 2015 cumulatively amount of merchants' levy arrears reached Rp16 billion," he said on Friday.
Related levy arrears warning was already done, until decisive action by sealing their shops and stalls. "We do firmly step like sealing 60 shops and stalls in the Market Kuripan," said Herman, who was accompanied by Head of Admission Department of Market Management Agency Rini Subantari.
"Even until we give the relief that they pay off by way of installments, but not adhered to as well," he explained.
His agency was forced to ask help to state prosecutor to perform the billing to traders. Otherwise, he said, would be a problem again repeated year after year, which impact the target revenue (PAD) charged to the agency difficult to achieve.
