Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Regent Banjar Khairul Saleh said the development of the district increased over the five-year tenure from 2010 to 2015.


"Various construction sector has increased significantly, and all can be achieved thanks to a strategic program implemented by sector working units (SKPD)," he said.

Since 2010, Banjar district economic growth by 6.18 percent is above the 5.21 percent of national achievement. Economic growth is supported by three major sectors namely agriculture, trade, services and other sectors.

The poverty rate is far declined from 5.1 percent in 2011 to 2.74 percent in 2014.

Achievement indicators of unemployment in 2011 was 4.15 percent and in 2014 that number decreased to 3.29 percent.

"Increased development occurs in various fields and we will continue to develop the area until the term of office expires in August 2015," he said in Martapura on Tuesday.

He said he has submitted Accountability Reports (LKPJ) 2010-2015 to assembly in the plenary session on Tuesday (31/3).
