“Hopefully, with us sowing haruan fish seeds, we can meet the need of fish in Tanah Laut. we will continue to do this for the preservation of local fish farming. Let's keep it, don't anyone catch fish using tools that are not permitted by the government, such as fish shocker and poison,” he said.

Ari Adi Noor said that the spreading of local fish seeds is aimed at conserving the diversity of fish resources and increasing capture fisheries production.

“The type of fish stocked today is specific local fish with high economic value, namely snakehead fish or haruan. Haruan has become an icon of inflation. Hopefully, in the future there will be no more inflation due to haruan fish, so the presence of this local fish will be our pride and a characteristic that can remain sustainable,” he said.

Also attending the event was the Head of Tourism Destination of the Tanah Laut Tourism Agency, Head of Pelaihari Urban Village, and communities around the waters area.
