The South Kalimantan Education Quality Assurance Agency (LPMP) together with Tapin Teacher Care Forum, state junior high school SMP Negeri 1 Rantau and SMP Negeri 2 Rantau, Bank Kalsel, and the School Headmaster Working Meeting (MKKS) distributed assistance to 11 schools and 28 teachers who were victims of flash floods.

Head of Tapin Education Agency H. Ahlul Jannah said that the damage rate of schools that received assistance reached 30 to 40 percent.

"Satu Atap Parigi Simbar Kindergarten received an assistance of IDR59 million, Mastika Kindergarten in Sungai Puting Village IDR75 million, Harapan Ibu Kindergarten in Kaladan Village IDR50 million," she said.

In addition, a total of 28 teachers also received assistance from donors.

Head of Rantau Branch of Bank Kalsel Izhar said the assistance was a form of concern for teachers.

"Today our assistance is for teachers affected by floods, and previously we also assisted with IDR20 million which came from Zakat," he said.
