After receiving China-based Sinovac Biotech's vaccine, Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, distributes it to its sub-districts.
"The next is we will distribute the vaccine to sub-districts on Wednesday, January 27, 2021," said the Head of Tanah Bumbu Health Agency Setya Budi in Batulicin.
The Banjarmasin Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), the Police, BPBD (Disaster Mitigation Agency) and Pharmacy Warehouse and Health Equipment Installation Building in Banjarbaru brought the vaccine for Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru.
Tanah Bumbu received 4840 doses, while Kotabaru obtained 3,080 doses of the Sinovac vaccine which was brought under the tight guard of the police.
Tanah Bumbu has scheduled the first target of vaccination to 2,420 health workers across the district.
They will receive the first doses and to wait for 14 days. If they do not have the symptoms, the will receive the second doses (injection.
Otherwise, if anyone experiences a symptom after being vaccinated, he or she will temporarily gets no second jab.
"When health workers are all vaccinated, the Tanah Bumbu Health Agency waits the provincial government's instruction to when and how many doses of vaccine to be distributed for the public," he said.

Budi explained that the vaccine demand for Indonesia reaches 181.5 million, 1.6 million for health workers, 17.4 mllion for public workers, elderly 21.5 million, vulnerable people 63.9 million, and 77.1 milion for other people.
"We ensure that this vaccine is halal and safe for humanbeing. However, not everyone can receive the vaccine," said Budi.
The category for people who are eligible to receive the vaccine is the age range between 18-59 year and the people concern do no have illness.
