Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarmasin Police Resort arrested two suspected laptop specialist thieves early Tuesday morning.
One of the suspects, R (28), should be shot in the right leg for trying to escape when officers arrested him at his home. While other suspects MH (38) was arrested at his home without a fight.
Both suspects are currently being held in North Banjarmasin police with evidence of 28 laptops of various brands.
North Banjarmasin Police Chief AKP Fami Anshori when confirmed saying, in addition they also detained one suspected receiver of stolen goods or a fence, A (28).
"Currently, the suspects are still in the process of being questioned by investigators, furthermore this case will be explained later in the police chief press conference," he said briefly.
Based on the recognition of the perpetrators, they had been in action stealing laptops in the Kayu Tangi, HKSN and Sungai AndaiBanjarmasin. They performed stealing laptops for about three months.
"Most laptops that we stole belonged to residents of boarding-lodging or belonging to students," said one of the actors.
