Active cases in the Barito Kuala (Batola) Regency increased to 59 following the addition of 13 confirmed positive patients, Friday (Dec 11, 2020).
Spokesperson of the Batola Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Hj Azizah Sri Widari said the fresh cases came from Marabahan Sub-district 7, Alalak 2, and 1 each from Kuripan, Tabukan, Cerbon, and Wanaraya Sub-districts.
Eight people are currently undergoing independent isolation in their respective houses, two people are isolated in the SKB Marabahan Quarantine, and three people are being treated in the Bepelkes Banjarbaru Quarantine, said Azizah.
The head of the Health Office said that with the addition of fresh cases now the positive cases in Batola became 836 consisting of 764 people recovered (91.39 percent), 13 died (1.55 percent), and 59 active cases (7.06 percent).
Beside active cases, said Azizah, in Batola there were also27 suspects, two probable, and 151 close contact cases.
