The South Kalimantan Education Office will build two schools in two locations in Tapin District in 2021, one of which is a health vocational high school (SMK Kesehatan).
Head of Tapin Education Agency Hj Ahlul Jannah in Rantau said the two locations are in Piani Sub-district and North Tapin Sub-district.
"In Piani a Piani high school (SMA) will be built," she said, Sunday (Dec 6, 2020)
While in North Tapin, a health vocational high school will be built. It will provide pharmacy and nursing majors.
"The health vocation high school is planned to be not far from the new District General Hospital of Datu Sanggul in the Trantang area," said head of the office.

According to Ahlul Jannah, in the construction of SMA and SMK, the Tapin District Government has provided 5 hectares of land, while the South Kalimantan Education Agency provided the construction funds.
"SMA Piani has started accepting students in the 2019/2020 school year, but it currently is still using the state junior high school SMPN 1 Piani as a place," she said again.
Previously, the Head of South Kalimantan Education Office H Yusuf Effendy said that school building in several areas was aimed to make it easier for children to access education.
