The Banjarmasin City Administration has again won unqualified opinion (WTP) for its 2019 financial report. It made the city winning the highest score for seven consecutive years.

"This is the 7th WTP we receive sequentially every year," said Head of the Banjarmasin Finance Agency Subhan Nor Yaumil here on Friday.

Subhan said, the 7th WTP award from the government of the Republic of Indonesia was handed over by Acting Governor H Rudy Resnawan at the Dr KH Idham Chalid Building of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Office in Banjarbaru (1/12).

Acting Governor also handed over the budget execution document (DIPA), fund transfer and village fund (TKDD) for the fiscal year of 2021 worth IDR1.022 trillion.

Subhan was previously grateful that the city's 2021 draft budget was appreciated. "We are very grateful the city's 2021 draft budget has been appreciated," he said.

As is known, Subhan said, the city's 2021 budget was determined and approved by the DPRD worth IDR1.7 trillion. According to him, there is a deficit of about IDR200 billion from regional revenue which is projected at IDR1.5 trillion.

"But with a maximum effort to increase the local revenue, we are optimistic that the deficit can be overcome," said Subhan.

He hopes that the 2021 budget to be implemented as well as possible by referring to and oriented toward the interest of the people of the city as directed by the President of Indonesia and Governor of South Kalimantan.
