Tapin Health Agency distributed 26 thousand masks to the people to mark the 56th National Health Day (HKN).

Head of the agency Yusuf Alfian said the masks distributed that day were aids from the Ministry of Health. "We distributed the 26 thousand masks to 12 community health centers (puskesmas) in Tapin, then each puskesmas distributes them to the people," he said in Rantau, Tuesday (Nov 17, 2020).

In addition to handing out masks, the Health Agency appealed to the public to continue applying 3M, namely using masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance.

"The joint team also continues to carry out yustisi patrol in enforcing the COVID-19 health protocol," he said again.

Deputy Regent of Tapin H Syafruddin Noor hopes that people to be more aware of the importance of health protocol to break the chain of spreading COVID-19.

"Always apply 3M for the good common health," he said.

The Ministry of Health distributed 1 million masks to all provinces throughout Indonesia as a series of campaigns of wearing masks in the era of adapting to new habits or new normal to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
