Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The Banjarmasin National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) now on alert preparing fleet to anticipate disaster, especially in shipping, related to bad weather lately. 

Head of Basarnas Banjarmasin Office in Banjarbaru Jasrin on Monday, said three-ship of operational fleet alerted to anticipate thepossibility of cruise disaster due to the bad weather as the impactof Rammasun storm in the Philippines and China. 

According to him, despite the forecasts of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Rammasun storm weakened, but its influence on the surrounding waters of the islands of Kalimantan is still quite strong. 

"Bad weather and sporadic rain then suddenly turns heat that triggers the brunt of hurricanes and high waves of the ocean is still a potentially strong," he said, accompanied by Chief Operations Wasino. 

Wasino said, three types of operating ships Rescue Boat (RB)respectively vessels 28 meters and 12 meters positioned in Banjarmasin and one RB vessels of 22 meters in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. 

All three ships were alerted to anticipate the various possibilities worse catastrophe cruise including relief against the sink, so victims can be evacuated and rescued. 

Basarnas technically coordinated with the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) who inventory every disaster. 

"No matter how small the number of victims in need of evacuation, please contact our office via phone line number (0511) 4707911, we are ready to help 24 hours," he said.
