The Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) H Achmad Fikry and Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad handed over welfare house assistance for families in Angkinang and Telaga Langsat Sub-districts.

Head of HSS Social Office Nordiansyah in Angkinang, Tuesday (August 18, 2020), said in 2020 as many as 207 families spread across 11 sub-district are eligible for welfare house assistance.

"For Telaga Langsat there are 18 families, and 10 in Angkinang, because two have died then remaining eight, thus the total in the two sub-districts are 26 families," he said.

The regent said the welfare house (Rumah Sejahtera) assistance is indeed the district program since 2014 and continuously carried out.

The assistance, he explained, is delivered in marathon to 11 sub-districts. It is hoped that the fund transferred to the beneficiary's account to be implemented soon, so the house of the beneficiaries can be repaired better than before.

"The Rumah Sejahtera Program in 2020 has entered the best Top 45 Innovation in Indonesia. This means anyone can follow it as a model, and this is recognized by experts that this program is good and worthy of being imitated by other regions who want to improve their people's home," he said.

Also attending were Assistant for Development and Community Administration Sasmi Rifani, representatives of Finance Agency (Bakeuda), Sub-district Head of Angkinang Lothvie Rahmanie, Sub-district Head of Telaga Langsat Sar Ifansyah, SSTP, and potentials of Social Agency.
