The Tanah Bumbu district administration received "Satu Wasaka Award" from the South Kalimantan Provincial government for its success in sanitation and drinking water program.

"The hand over of the award was performed virtually and coincided with the 70th Anniversary of the Province of South Kalimantan," said Tanah Bumbu Regent H. Sudian Noor in Batulicin, Saturday.

Satu Wasaka Award, he said, is a program of the provincial government to encourage districts and cities to improve access to sanitation and drinking water.

Banjarbaru, the district of Banjar, and Tanah Bumbu are those who received Satu Wasaka Award for the period of 2019.

Meanwhile, the award also given to the Water Supply and Environment Sanitation Working Group (Pokja AMPL/Sanitasi Responsif) in an effort of partnership in the development of sanitation and drinking water. The recipients were South Hulu Sungai (HSS) and Tanah Bumbu.

"We would like to thank the provincial government for the award given," said the regent who was accompanied by Regional Secretary H. Rooswandi Salem, Forkopimda (District Leadership Communication Forum) and heads of government working units (SKPD).
