The Central Hulu Sungai (HST) district, South Kalimantan, added four new confirmed COVID-19 positive cases on July 6, 2020.

"One of them is a seven-year-old child and all (new cases) are female," said the spokesperson of the HST COVID-19 Task Force Sakdillah.

He said, the other three are 74 years old, 27 years old, and 35 years old. All came from two sub-districts, Barabai and Labuan Amas Utara.

"All these positive are asymtomatic people (OTG) and all are in one family, but not from health workers," said Sakdillah, who is secretary of the Health Agency.

The discovery of a seven-year-old child, he acknowledged, was the youngest of confirmed COVID-19 positive case recorded in the HST.

"The follow-up to those confirmed positive is self-quarantined for 14 days by applying health protocol," he said.

As of July 6, 2020 there was 38 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in the HST, 13 had recovered, 24 still under treatment, and eight Patient Under Surveillance (PDP).
