River cruising tour activities finally resumed in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, by complying health protocol to prevent COVID-19.
At the pier of river cruising tour at the Menara Pandang attraction, Saturday noon, tens of traditional motorized river boats, or in Banjar language known as kelotok, moored on the pier.
"We require passengers to wear masks and washing hands at the available place before boarding," said Haji Isam, a person in charge of Menara Pandang pier to ANTARAnews.
He acknowledged, entering July there was an increase in passengers, although it was still far from normal conditions before the pandemic.
"Now we can get 10 times a day, thank God. The one that is rather busy is Saturday and Sunday," he said.

"To go to Green Village in Sungai Bilu, for example, Rp10.000 per person or Rp100.000 for a charter. The duration of the trip is around 30 minutes to one hour to cruise the river of Martapura," H Isam said.
At the Menara Pandang pier, there were 88 kelotok available. The size also varies from the smallest with a capacity of 30 passengers and the large for 70 passengers.
