Banjarbaru Win Top 9 Public Service

Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews ) - The Banjarbaru government awarded Top 9 Best Public Service in 2014 for it success to provide public services to the community.

"Banjarbaru rated municipal government managed to provide public services in the construction of major roads without pay and the innovation awarded by Ministry of Administrative Reform (PAN & RB)," said Reporting and Coverage Chief Division of Banjarbaru Public Relations, Teddy Fakhrizal here on Thursday.

Award was presented by PAN and RB Minister Azwar Abubakar (30/4) in Jakarta to Mayor Banjarbaru, Ruzaidin Noor, in the closing of Musrenbangnas (2014 National Development Planning Conference)attended by Vice President Boediono.

According to Teddy, 515 public service innovation from central government agencies, local government and other public service took part in competition organized by Ministry. "Judgment was very tight, initially selected 33 public service innovators and once again selected set of top 9 including Banjarbaru," he said.

The top 9 innovators are Banjarbaru through construction of roads without pay, Surabaya single windows (Surabaya), upstream downstream format (Aceh Province). Then Fiducia online (Kemenkum HAM), GRMS (Surabaya), Combating corruption at weigh stations (East Java), KM 0 pro-poor (West Java), Kampung Media (NTB) and Fish Quarantine Semarang (Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries).
