Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - PT Arutmin Indonesia found some heavy equipment while raiding illegal mining (PETI) in the area of PKP2B (coal mining licenses)belonging to the company.

PT Arutmin Indonesia PR Zainuddin JR Lubis in his email to Antarnews in Banjarmasin  on Saturday said the case was submitted to the local police .

The discovery of heavy equipment by Satui's Arutmin internal security team Indonesia, Tanah Bumbu District, with Satui police, Brimob and PT Jhonlin Baratama team when patrolling illegal mining in Pit Abhimanyu and Pit Sajuna this week.

A joint team found a number of non-operated heavy equipment (standby) and one excavator PC 300. In addition, the team found two units currently active dump truck load of coal.

The team secured an excavator operator and two dump truck driver who subsequently handed over to the Sungai Danau Police.

Owners of the equipment is unknown, as it is awaiting the results of the interrogation by the police.

The illegal mining has So far claimed they have permission from Arutmin contractor Jhonlin Baratama (JB), whereas JB never gave permission, said Zainuddin Lubis.

In addition, areas of cooperation betweem JB and Arutmin only include Pit Perintis and Jumbang Pit not in the Pit Satui or Pit Mulia.
