The first positive patient for COVID-19, who has been treated at the Ulin Regional Hospital in Banjarmasin, was declared cured after the second swab test was negative.
Spokesperson for the South Kalimantan Task Force for Acceleration Handling of COVID-19 HM Muslim in Banjarbaru Monday afternoon said, with the recovery of patient code KS Covid#1 or Ulin 01, a 45 year old male from Banjarmasin, then three positive patients have been recovered.
"The Ulin 01 patient, who was recovered after 27 days of treatment, was the first positive patient in South Kalimantan," he pointed out..
According to Muslim, the second swab test results from the laboratory that had been received by the Ulin Hospital medical team showed that the patient was COVID-19 negative, so he was allowed to go home.
Muslim also said, based on the data from the province's COVID-19 Task Force, 34 confirmed positive cases were recorded. Three of them recovered, four died, and 27 patients are still being treated at the referral hospitals.
The most positive patients came from Banjarmasin referral 13 patients, Banjar District four patients, Barito Kuala District four patients.
Then Banjarbaru two patients, Tapin District, Tanah Bumbu, Balangan, and Tabalong each one patient.
The condition of 14 patients in Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital were in average stable and good.
Only patients with code KS Covid#6, 20, 25, and 30 still experienced shortness of breath and rather weak.
