One of the students from Tabalong, who is studying in Hubei University of Science and Technology, Septria Niken Pratiwi, has returned to her hometown in Pangelak Village, Upau Sub-district, Tabalong, South Kalimantan.

Although she is now far away from China, Niken, who took Clinical Medicine, continues her study through online lectures. "The lectures continue online and tomorrow (Monday) will begin," she said.

Niken is listed as an 8th-semester student along with her five colleagues who joined the Indonesia Tionghoa Culture Centre (ITCC).

The alumnus of state high school SMA Negeri 1 Upau will return to China if the situation in that country is free of coronavirus and conducive.

During their studies in China, Niken and her friends received funding from the Tabalong District Government.

Beside Niken, three of her colleagues, Risda Astuti, Felisia Martha and Diki Purnama Abdi, were accompanied by the Tabalong Government team to facilitate them to reach homes.
