Governor of South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor set to learn from Yogyakarta who succeeded in realizing bureaucratic reforms well proved by obtaining the Government Institution Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) AA from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB).
Governor was speaking after receiving SAKIP award from the Ministry of PAN-RB in Bali, Monday (Jan 27, 2020) together with other heads of regions in Indonesia.
The governor received the SAKIP evaluation award with a category of A from the ministry's Deputy of Bureaucratic Reforms, Apparatus Accountability, and Supervision Muhammad Yusuf Ateh.

He said, this is the second times the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan received the same predicate since 2018, but the score has increased from 80,15 in 2018 to 80,74 in 2019.
Governor was grateful for the A predicate has been maintained and said it was the result of hard work of the rank of the provincial government.
"I hope the Provincial Government to gain AA predicate like the Special Region of Yogyakarta. We will learn to Yogyakarta," he stated.
Muhammad Yusuf Ateh said, one of concrete steps the government should do to realize bureaucratic reforms in through effective and efficient budget management that can be realized if local government consistently apply SAKIP.
Government agencies, he said, should be result oriented and no longer input-output. It means they must guarantee that every rupiah used to fund the program or activity has economic benefit and gives benefit to the peope and improve the welfare of the people.
