The Regent of Kotabaru Sayed Jafar affirmed that 113 villages boundary disputes in the district have been settled following the issuance of the regent's decree (Perbup), thus people can be more calm in doing their activities.


"The 113 villages boundaries have been settled are clear and legal in the eyes of law, so people do not need to worry about the boundaries of their village anymore," the regent stated.

The decree on the village boundary has been handed over by the regent himself to seven chiefs of villages, namely Lalapin, Limbungan, Hampang, Cantung Kanan, Cantung Kiri, Pramasan, and Muara uri.

In the series of the event, some social services were held, including mass circumcision, followed by 26 children, and free medical treatment.

Also present to accompany the regent were Chairwoman of Kotabaru Family Welfare Movement (PKK) Hj Fatma Idiana, members of Legislative Council (DPRD), heads of government agencies, Forkopimca (the Sub-district Leaders Coordination Forum), Hampang Sub-district head and the ranks, chiefs of villages, religious figures, and hundreds of Limbungan villagers.
