A fleet of ten cars of Balakar (Fire Volunteer Forces) 654 Murakata were released by the Regent of Central Hulu Sungai (HST) H A Chairansyah to bring aid for victims of fire disaster in Sebuku Island, Kotabaru, Thursday (Nov 28, 2019).


The aid, said Head of Satpol PP (Public Order Agency) and Brigade of Firefighters Abdul Razak, collected by the Balakar 654 Murakata came from various elements of residents, including NGOs, scouts, students, and community organizations.

"The aid we send are 392 bags of suitable clothings (including shirt, pants, blankets, and baby diapers), 45 cardboards of instant noodle, and money Rp75 million," he said.

"While the personnel leaving for Sebuku Island are 45 with a fleet of 10 cars," he explained.

Regent H A Chairansyah expressed his gratitude to all elements of residents of HST who participated in this social action.

"Hopefully the aid that we send will alleviate the burden of our brothers who suffer the disaster in Sebuku Island, Kotabaru," he said.

Chairansyah also advised head of the fleet to be careful in the journey and to prioritize security and safety.

The fire disaster in Sungai Bali Village, Pulau sebuku Sub-district, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, occurred saturday night (Nov 26, 2016) razed hundreds of houses, place of worship, police station, markets, and schools.
