Banjarmasin, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - South Kalimantan became one of a Big Five of 34 provinces in Indonesia, which resolve crucial issues, said Deputy Chairman of the province Legislative Council (DPRD) H Riswandi in Banjarmasin, Tuesday.
"The crucial issue, namely the discussion of Revenue and Expenditure (APBD) either pure or changes and the Governor Acountability Report (LKPj))," he said.
Other issues, he added, related to the Inspection Report (LHP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Republic Indonesia over budget execution reports, legislators added Kalsel two periods.
According to a former employee of the Ministry of Finance, the successful discussion of the crucial things (budgets, accountability report and LHP) is a parameter to measure the performance of DPRD as an institution.
"So attendance list to the` Banjar House (South Kalimantan DPRD building) is not the only benchmark of representative performance. Because members of parliament are not civil servants to report to work according to the provisions. Example, at 7:30 to 16:30 pm, "he answered journalists who are members of South Kalimantan Parliament Journalist Community (JPC).
He cited foreign legislators, such as Canada, knows no quorum at meetings, but most importantly for them, there is always a discussion to any problems and finish it.
But politicians of Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) agreed that the South Kalimantan DPRD members always come to the Banjar House, when there is no other activity or there are no obstacles in order to facilitate coordination when there are sudden or activities outside the schedule.
Riswandi responded the revelation of the South Kalimantan DPRD Honorary Chairman (BK) HM Zaini, who stated, the performance level of the provincial legislature decreased. It could be seen from the list of attendance at meetings of the commission, special committee and a plenary session. As a result, sometimes meetings delayed due to not meeting a quorum.
